Hello Beauties!
I love a fabulous wrap dresses! They flatter just about every figure with the right shoes and accessories. A cute pair of pumps will lift and love our derriere or give the illusion of one if you have just the derr and no iere!
No diva is left behind who can rock a wrap dress! A good bra will love and support our luscious“ Lady Lumps ” and be center stage of the whole look! If you are busty a simple pair of earrings will do if you need some extra attention in the chest area a simple V shaped necklace for a print dress like this one or you may want to go for more of a bolder piece if your wrap is a solid color and a good push up bra can make beautiful things happen and lumps will come up that you did not even know existed!
The wrap dress is great especially while in transition of losing weight because you save money not having to buy new clothes you simply wrap it tighter! A wrap dress is an ultra-feminine look for the diva who lives in us all!

Hello Beauties!
We here all this stuff about sugar in our diet we know it’s bad many of probably don’t know why other than it’s bad and not to eat too much of it
There are lots of different sugars that are in our everyday life and in nature. However out of Alllllllllll the shugga’s in the land Glucose is on top! Glucose is fierce because this is where we get instant energy so that our muscles can move around and our brains get wired so lots of fun chemical reaction stuff goes on.
When it comes to being in what is called a “ pre-diabetic “ stage our body’s blood glucose level is higher than normal but not high enough to be considered diabetic. So that is why diagnosing pre-diabetes is crucial! Lifestyle Changes especially in our diet of what we eat and exercising have been proven to beat the onset of diabetes with people who have pre-diabetes.
Remember that sugar is a Carb one of the 3 sources of energy in our body the other sources are protein and fat so we need it to live.
When choosing sugar it’s always best to get it directly from the fruit than from juice. There is sucrose which is our table sugar and then there is fructose that comes from fruit and veggies. Between the two our taste buds require less sucrose and fructose to get the same level of sweetness that glucose provides.
Fructose is low-glycemic it slowly releases into your body whereas sucrose releases sugar into the body and immediately gives you a spurt of energy and then just as quickly as your sugar goes up it comes crashing down! Which overtime can create toxins in the body. Which overtime can turn into chronic diseases like diabetes.
When we eat low-glycemic sugars it releases energy to the body in moderation and it helps avoid the big sugar crash! # not a good look for a diva!

Hello Beauties!
This past Sunday closed week one of the Destination Transformation Challenge. I posted my picture on facebook just random shot of myself. I had gotten more likes on this random photograph than one of my full force diva shots. I did not have on any make up or anything really super cute on. It was just me in my glasses standing infront of the mirror with a look of accomplishment on my face for taking the step forward this week. So yeah I’m kinda feeling myself … yeah I said it Beauties!
It’s really not all about the weight loss I think weight loss is pleasant side-effect from living a healthier lifestyle. It’s not that
we want to live to be a thousand years old. It’s just should I live till I am a thousand or if I live until next Friday I want to make
sure that I am living my life to the fullest and living a life of quality.
I have learned taking control of my health does just that. I had a lifestyle changing moment today when I was driving home from work when my mind wanted
to so badly pull into the Mc Donald’s drive through and get a Fish O Filet ( my favorite! ) but my body drove me to Fresh & Easy I had a delicious BBQ
Chicken Salad for lunch!
It really is all about the journey!

Welcome Fabulous Friday! Better Than Beauty Secrets!
Have you found yourself in a motivation slump? No Mojo? # not a good look for a diva! Let’s Get it BACK!
You’ve got to have something that you are ‘ Fighting ‘ for to get yourself motivated to bring the flyness back dear diva!
Understand what it is that you want. We’ve got to begin with the end in mind. Visualize yourself where you ultimately want to be. Where are you? What year is it? What are you doing? Who are you with? What do you look like? How much money do you have? How do you dress? Where do you work ? What do you do at work? Where do you vacation? When do you spend time with your family? Where do you go? What do you do? It’s a process to build a vision. The more detailed you are the more real it becomes which means the more successful you will be in reaching your goals.
These are just suggestions to get your visual juices flowing, if you begin with the end in mind it gives you a starting point. Success is very personal what success is to one diva may not be to another so no need to measure yourself to anyone. It’s all about YOU!
Once you have a vision for yourself everything else is a cake walk your ambition will take off like the day after Christmas Sale 50% at COACH!! You will run and break necks to reach your GOALS!!!
Be your own SUPER HERO you will FLY and best of all you will find it easier to structure your goals and apply them. Having a vision is kind of like having a road map to what you desire out of your life. Fitness and personal growth the two go hand in hand.
If you really want to get healthy. If you really want to get into the best shape of your life. We must have that Vision of ourselves being healthy and strong. It takes time to build vision. It may come to you a week from now it may come to you a year from now but once you have it. Stick with it and don’t ever lose it. Even if the progress is slow you are always moving forward to your ultimate destination.
It may take you trying several times falling and getting right back up and doing it all over again. It may take the loss of a loved one. It may take the loss of your health, It may even take the loss of yourself. Sometimes when we are at the very bottom in the well of our LIFE, there is no-where else to look but up.

Hello Beauties!
Welcome to Wellness Wednesday!
This month we will be dedicating our wellness segment to Diabetes. For those of you who know me, 10 years ago this month I lost my mother by pre-mature death due to complications Diabetes.
Her body literally stopped working and it shut down. She suffered from Congestive Heart Failure which means that her body was not pumping enough blood and oxygen for the nutrients to reach her organs. This is what caused her kidneys to fail which caused her body to retain fluid throughout her body and filled her lungs. She ultimately lost her young life of 52 years to Respiratory Failure.
Diabetes affects all the major vital organs of the body and blood circulation like this foot in this picture is gout; a condition linked to diabets given to poor circulation. Diabetes is one of the leading causes of heart disease and strokes. It is also known as the silent killer because symptoms are usually not noticed and under-diagnosed until the disease is full blown.
Diabetes is a leading cause of premature death claiming the lives of 2.9 million per year ( * annual worldwide figure -2010 World Health Organization ) If current trends continue 1 in 3 Americans will develop diabetes in their lifetime and those who have diabetes will lose on average 10-15 years of life.
On the bright side there are solutions! This disease can be beat! It can be managed and you can live a quality healthy life with lifestyle adjustments – diet & exercise. Certain types of Diabetes (Type 2) can be preventable and in some cases even be reversed!
My father is alive and well @ 64 years of age, has lived with the disease for over 20 years without suffering any major complications of the disease. I believe a lot of his success is because he has got a grip on monitoring and controlling his blood sugar.
It’s really the best time to be living with any kind of disease these days with the advancement of science, technology, and medicine we all have a shot at living a happy healthy quality filled life! We are in the information age ignorance is not bliss. It’s foolish and can cost you years and the quality off of your life!
Here at FBJ we want to promote preventative health care it’s far more cheaper than medical bills!
Knowledge is power! Educate yourself and Be Well this Wednesday!
I don’t want to have to buy any Flowers!
