We cannot eat whatever, whenever and however we want and expect everything to fall into place. It’s all about the Yoga, the veggies, the organic bottled shape water, and the fruits; we all know it’s the “good ” stuff the healthy stuff.

Have you ever been so frustrated if you’ve have sweated your hair out or sweated it off, you have ran until your legs were numb, have kicked that punching bag until your legs burned, eat like a rabbit a no visible results! This can take a diva to a whole different level.

She may become unmotivated and even a bit depressed after all her hard work, commitment and dedication. Take heart diva there are other things that are happening on the inside that we cannot see like improved bone density, we may have better circulation, have loads of energy and be a little bit more of pep in our step! Sometimes when we do not see the sizes drop we can stop and think that it may not be worth it and become discouraged.

Lots of us set out a goal to get healthy, exercise eat better but it seems just as quickly as we set the goal we find ourselves back into our old habits FULL THROTTLE! # not a good look for a diva!

So divas what’s the solution to actively do what we know?

We can do something fun like take up a class!

We can try eating on smaller plates like a salad plate it will make our servings look HUUUUUGGGGGGE!

We can eat slowly.

We can eat regularly 5 to 7 times a day.

It takes time. It takes learning our bodies what is good for it and what is not. It takes consistency. It takes courage to continue in spite of our visual results.

You GOT This Divas! Keep going!

Big, Long & Lots of inches!

So what this Big long thing with all the inches?? It all begins at our mouth and it is a process that works very very well when done properly. In fact a diva can not live with out it.

It’s our digestive system ofcourse! Digestion is the process of how we break down our food so that we can use it for energy and well… live our lives! So it’s kina of a big a deal. When we eat food is just broken down into smaller sections kind of like a club where there is a hip hop room a house room etc you get where I am going with this.

The big long tube is our digestive tract kind of looks like a long hose the food we eat. There is always a party in our stomach when we eat food especially good food! How do we get into this party? Well the front door it begins at our mouth and moves through this tube and then moves into the hip hop room known as the the small intestine off of the stomach.

Then once in the hip hop room the food moves along to the main club where the house music is playing which is our large intestine and then we get crazy the food has a party in our stomach they use up all the energy and then the rest of it gets ” wasted ” and works it’s way out the back door known as ” the poop shoot ” and we go home feeling and looking fabulous ready to do it all again the next night!

If this process gets jacked up in anyway you will look horrible and feel like a bus hit you. # not a good look for a diva!

On a brighter note by having this process corrected it can change a diva’s life!

Let’s focus this week on chewing our food enjoy it, taste it, love it. Let’s make sure we get the full benefit of the foods that we eat!

Digestion: The Secret Mojo for Weight Loss & Management

Hello Beauties It’s Wellness Wednesday!

So we have heard of like every diet, pill, and surgery,but no matter what we do it always comes back and we are off to try the next big thing! The next break through like green coffee beans is not new hot ticket item. Did you know that Americans spend over 1 BILLION, yes divas Billion with a “ B “ on weight loss products and services??????? Do you know how many Coach bags 1 BILLION dollars can buy???? It’s heart breaking. The hard truth that there are no quick fixes most people end up gaining double what they lost and the most of the popular weight loss programs fail to teach us about the most vital and critical component to be successful in losing as well as managing our weight. If we do not properly digest our food losing and managing weight can turn into bigger problem and can trigger the onset of chronic and degenerative disease.
Digestion is the Basis of our overall health. Digestion is responsible for so much that goes on inside us, everything from to how we feel to how we function, how much energy we have to go shopping to the fat we burn in Zumba to the appearance of our skin if our stomach is bloated or not. It’s a pretty amazing process!
Have you ever thought that your belly has a mind of it’s own. It makes you do unmentionable things like having fried sushi, a late night cap, or maybe those midnight munchies? It’s true our stomachs do have a mind of their own! Have you ever been so excited to see someone that you can feel it in the pit of your stomach or so nervous that you are sick to your stomach before that next big job interview? # ding! ding! ding!
Did you know that 80% of the body’s total serotonin is in our stomachs? Serotonin is our “free happy pills “ that naturally produces within our body, without the shrink visit and prescription bill to boot! So basically if our digestion is all outta control this can have a big impact that can affect our mood! # not a good look for a diva!
Once we get our digestion on track no more rockin that “back fat “ NO MORE ROCKIN a Full C Cup on our backs! EVVVVVVVAAAAAAA!!!!
