Hello Beauties!  It’s ” Work It Out Wednesday! ”

7 Benefits to Yoga: There is alot more to Yogi than the average Bear ….

1. A happier look out on life – by doing an hour of ” asanas ” ( a sequence of sitting and balancing ) raised the level of GABA in the brain ( low levels of chemical GABA is linked to depression )

2. No more Aches and Pains! – A study was done of suffers who did two 90 minute sessions
of Yoga class for a week for 6 months and their sorness reduced by 56%! Posing improves posture and strengthens the back muscles.

3. Sleep Better! – Insomniacs fell asleep 15 minutes faster and slept an hour longer each night after 2 months of doing 45 minutes of YOGA poses before bed. Lights Out Insomno Divas!

4. Prwwlllll Hotter Sex! – You can step up your A Game in the bedroom O – my! by practicing  ” asanas ” no pun intended LoL – that pose of standing up and down that we were talking about earlier. The ” yoga – love ” connection if you will helps reduce anxiety, rev up arousal, by boosting libido, natural lubes, and the ability to achieve the Big Oh! experts say.

5. Body Confidence! – Women both of healthy weight who practice Yoga regularly are fabulous and satisfied with
their bodies compared to those who took aerobics. Yoga kind of forces you to have designated chill time, tune into your body how it feels and all of the amazing things that it can do!

6. Tone! – We are not talking about Tone – Loc neither! Dumbells are not the only way to sculpt. Yoga can also count as your strength training because you are using your body’s weight to move
and certain poses require that you life every pound of your body. Body Building poses include: asanas, Crow Crescent, Warrior III and plank.

Drum Roll please…….

7. Calmness – Melt away Stress! a study was done where divas who had hit the mat once a week for 2 years or more had 41% less tension! They experienced lower levels of cytokine ( a type of protein ) that can break a diva down by making her tired and moody compared to those who got their Yogi’s on 🙂

Hello Beauties!

Do you just love, love, love, how our skin glows from a post workout what-ever workout that may be in or out of the bedroom or in the gym.

The truth is we all love it; it makes us look radiant healthy, and we feel absolutly fabulous!

However, there is alot more that goes with the ” glow ”

These are 4 suprising perks of a good sweat session:

1. It can Fight Lines – Toned muscles provide more support for your skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and sagging

2. It can banish breakouts – When divas exercise our adrenal glands secrete less of the hormones that cause acne

3. It can boost collagen – The circulation that comes from working out gets nutrients to your cells to produce collagen and elastin, this is what gives skin strength and keeps your face off the ground!

4. It can DETOX – Sweating clears your pores, removing about 30% of the toxins that our body generates daily.

Hello Beauties!

I’ve been sick all this week and  one thing is certain is that it has given me an opportunity to re-prioritize my life. When simple everyday time is taken away from you because you are not feeling well we can start to appreciate all the time that we really do have and do the things that we enjoy.

We all have 168 hours in a week if you break it down you can really see where you have extra time to fit those extra things into your life and if you don’t have time you can see where all of your time is going.

Here is my example:

Hours in a week 168 Hours  7 days

56 hours ( Sleep 8 hours a day )

42.5 ( Hours at work Full Time  Job plus 30 min lunch break )

10.0 ( Hours in Travel Time to work back to and from )

7.0 ( Grooming Time 1 hour a day 45 minutes for work 15 min before bedtime)

10.0 ( Hours to Exercise )

10.5 ( Hours Eating Meals 3 Meals a Day 30 minutes )

2.0 ( Hours weekly grocery shopping )

2.0 ( Hours prepare meals for the week )

1.0 ( Laundry sorting folding etc. wash time can be filled while doing other activities )

___________________________________________________

This leaves me with 27 hours for the week after my basic needs are met.

I run a home business, dedicate my time to blogging, and my hobby painting so let’s take a look at my extras.

10.0  ( Hours Running Home Business – Blogging etc. )

10.0  ” Me Time ” (  Hours dedicated to my hobby Painting )

After I get to do do everything that I want to do this leaves me with 7 Hours of Free Time!  I can use an hour a day or savor it for the weekend!

So who’s down to go to Lunch! See a Movie? Go Bowling? Etc! Kids Soccer Game whatever trips your trigger Dear Diva!

Take Time to Figure Out your Time You may have more Time than you Think! 🙂

It’s not so much running a strict schedule it’s making sure that you get things done in the amount of time that you have set aside for it!

Hello Beauties!

What we say can sometimes make us who we are or even who we become; may it positive or negative .

If we tell ourselves that we are dumb and ugly then guess what you  become dumb and uglier by the minute;  dumb + ugly =  not a good look for a diva!

Life is what you make it and the words we say about ourselves is what we believe about ourselves on somekind of level. So why not focus on the positive side of things.

If we tell ourselves that we are fun! fabulous! fierce and have only our greatness to share with the world then guess what? We are just THAT!

1. Use positive self talk morning until bedtime.

2. Find something good in all of your personal relationships and accentuate the blessings or lessons in even the most trying confrontations

3. Look at problems as opportunities

4. Lean to stay relaxed and friendly no matter how much tension you are under.

5. Think well of your health.

6. In projecting your own healthy condition to others realize that your daily conversation is the automatic readout of your thoughts and subconscious emotions.

7. In dealing with children, in addition to ensuring proper health and medical treatment, focus on the childs attention toward the reward of benefit of being well.
