Hi Divas!
Life can get in the way of reaching our goals but we can not let that stop us! This past week I took my workout up a notch by including weight training into my work out routine.
What I am learning is that a new lifestyle will eventually break bad habits.
My wellness journey is a work in progress. Once I shifted my focus from I got to lose x amount of pounds and trying to figure out what to eat, once I began to just focus on exercising consistently, my body began to crave healthy food and no longer wanted the junk. Every now and then I will eat something sweet or fried but as my eating habits change my body demands healthy food. My brain, well that is a different story.
A diva was still trying to get her grub on. Yoga would not allow me to eat junk because when I did my body would pay for it BIG TIME!
I would get my ass kicked in class! I would feel depleted and exhausted after class instead of feeling vibrant and having tons of energy #notagoodlookforadiva
Getting physically active is breaking me out of bad habits it wasn’t overnight but over time my body no longer wants the crap it wants the healthy stuff. I want to drink water and not juice. I want to eat fruit and not candy.
I challenge you Divas this week to start breaking those bad habits & refocus on fitness! Take a walk, take a class, go for a nature hike whatever you do get active!
