Why Vitamins? Who needs those anyways…

Hey Divas!

Vitamins! What about them… some people believe in them some people don’t. Some people think that they eat healthy enough and do not need them. There are some people out there whom it makes them sick to take them. There are some that think it’s expensive urine because it runs through you… the list goes on and on divas…

When it comes to getting healthy most people who want to get started on a wellness journey are less likely to take vitamins than ” normal weight people ” Research has shown that overweight people are at risk for deficiencies in Vitamin C, D , and E. So you know they through out there it’s because overweight people eat ” too much junk food ” how many times have we heard that divas? Just because one is overweight does not mean that they eat junk food everyday.

There are also people of ” average ” weight who eat junk food too who have deficiencies as well. It has also been said that it could also be that the excess fat alters the absorption and metabolism. It’s all theory…but at the end of the day no matter your size it’s a good idea to ensure that you meet your daily nutritional requirements. A good multiple vitamin can help you reach those daily nutrition goals!

It’s your decision if you want to take vitamins or not, but keep in mind it is very difficult to get all of the nutrients that you need day-to-day living.. so unless you have an organic farm in your back yard and grow everything you eat and eat pounds of spinach and oranges everyday and live in a bubble free of toxins and pollutions in the air… then you are one of the very luck few divas in this crazy toxic world the rest of us live in.

Vitamins can help us balance our health an insure that we are getting all of the nutrition that we need, being malnourished or not getting all of the proper nutrition we need can open our bodies up to inflammation, chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart disease etc. and ultimately our death.

Vitamins are not all created equal and are not FDA regulated so make sure that you choose one that follows pharmaceutical grade manufacturing this way you are assured what’s on the label is in the bottle. A good multiple vitamin is a great place to start when getting healthy because when we start a clean eating journey, our diets may not be the best; so think of vitamins giving you that push! It can help give you a boost of energy to get your body moving!
