Summer is officially over and we are FLYING BACK into Fall!
This month at FBJ Headquarters we had a great brainstorming session and we are excited for what’s abound in the world of FBJ moving into 2017!
Being consistent with a wellness journey is not easy I personally have been on mine for almost 5 years and what I have learned success is not always a straight arrow there are curves, turns, pauses and traps!
Giving up is easy but …starting over SUUUUUUAAAAAWWWWWKS.
5 Ways to get back on program 4 Good 4 Evvvvvvvaaaaaaa!!!
- Accepting Responsibility – When we blame other people for our current circumstances it’s going to take that other person or a change in that circumstance to get us out of it. We have taken ourselves out of the drivers seat of our lives. #notagoodlookforadiva
- Make a Commitment – Make achievable, attainable, and realistic goals.
- Get a Fitness Tracker – Strive for Progress not Perfection!
- Learn from the past -The silver lining of failing and giving up is that when we make that comeback… we are better… we are wiser… we are stronger. We get to learn from our past mistakes so this time around we do it better.
- Give it your ALL no less than 100%!!! Let’s do it right and better than ever before Divas!!!

First post of the New Year! Lots to catch up on! Excited to be launching the 2016 Fly By July Campaign! It’s been a crazy past couple of years as I’m getting things off the ground.
This past week we all shared out FBJ 2016 Vision Boards, Vision Boards are powerful tools for manifesting your dreams and desires. We used images, pictures and affirmations to create a collage to conceptualize our Fitness goals, dreams, wishes and desires.
I’m excited to see everyone taking this very important step in their wellness journey!
If we do not know where we are going we don’t know where we are going. This can turn into spinning our wheels and can lead to burn out and frustration. #notagoodlookforadiva
6 Tips on Creating an Effective Vision Board:
1.BE SPECIFIC
2. Keep them in front of you at all times! Make a copy of it use is a Screen Saver on your phone whatever you have to do to keep them in front of you on the daily!
3. Visualize. Every Day
4. Giving UP is NOT an OPTION!
5. Put together an action plan to achieve your goals!
6. Act as if it’s a done deal.

The age old question ” What do I eat to lose weight? ” Losing weight is simple but not easy.
It’s overwhelming when there are sooooo many diets, pills, wraps Etc. So do I wrap myself like a Burrito to slim down? Pop a magic fat burning pill and drink a shake? So many Diets today are just that Diets very few are based on solid research and facts. The first 3 letters in Diet is DIE. #notagoodlookforadiva
During this Fly by July Campaign Season I will be focusing on eating real food mostly RAW and only the Bare Minimum on Vitamin supplements.
It’s impossible for our bodies to get all of the necessary nutrition unless you’re going to eat Veggies for Days and grow an Organic Farm in your backyard! So it’s important to seal the deal on Clean Eating with a Potent and Trusted multiple vitamin to ensure your body is getting a complete balance of the nutrition that it needs to keep our Fabulous Vessels going!
I’m going RAW with a touch of animal protein. Studies have shown that a plant based diet are the healthiest and tend to help prevent chronic disease! I suffer from hypothyroidism so that means basically I need a nap from a nap and from that nap on the daily! My goal is to get my Thyroid functions in check to feel normal again and enjoy life I will have plenty of time to nap after this life but for now I want to enjoy as much of my life as I can.

Hi Divas,
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted a blog post but that does not mean that it has been quiet here in the world of FBJ! Check out our Facebook page and Instagram to be in the loop of the latest and greatest.
A new FBJ Campaign is approaching so it’s been pretty busy here at the FBJ HUB in preparation for the coming year!
The Holiday Season is my favorite time of year when it comes to goal setting. Optimism is at it’s peak and it’s the perfect time to reflect on where I have been during the year and where I want to go into the coming New Year.
It seems like however when I start the year I have BIG Goals and the desire to achieve them however over time life gets in the way other commitments etc. the list goes on…. I get off track and find myself in the same spot the following Holiday Season. #notagoodlookforadiva
This year I declare that I will set my goals and stick to them! It’s a year of change for me and I am determined not to end 2016 as I started 2015!
If we do not set goals for ourselves we are going to fail Here is a simple formula that I will be using to help me stay on track in 2016!
When we have a Big Goal it can be overwhelming and too distant that it can not keep us motivated so we have to break our goal down like a cardboard box:
State your Ultimate Goal:
State your Monthly Goal: ( Linked to your Ultimate Goal )
State your Weekly Goal: ( Linked to your Monthly Goal )
State your Daily Goal: ( Linked to your weekly goal )
Think of how you will reward yourself as you reach each of your goals it doesn’t matter how Big or Small it is.
This is a great system to use to remain focused and stay on track during campaign season and beyond!

Hey Divas!
This wellness journey can be a crazy ride! There are lots of twist and turns along the way! Excuses are excuses and no results ever come from them. I’ve been refocused back on my wellness journey for the past 7 months and when I tell you a a Diva has been tested she has been tested! Between Disappointments Setbacks and general Life Events I somehow found myself in a place where I began to question if I could do this. #notagoodlookforadiva
Then the I remembered who I am and pulled this Diva back together! This ignited and relaunched my wellness journey; it is still a work in progress and not an easy path but staying focused is my focus.
I’ve always been a Big Fan of having goals but have a really big one or too many can overwhelm a diva!
Work goals one by one and to know that your on the right track the SMART formula is always a great place to start!
Ask yourself is my goal Specific?
Can I measure my goal?
Is my goal achievable?
Is my goal reasonable? ( Rome was not built in a day divas! )
What is my time frame?
Take some designated chill time and really think about your goals & where you want to be this is a journey divas not a marathon! Embrace the process!
